Dip Into Bliss: Serenity

It is the month of September; the month of intention. For this week, we’ve chosen serenity.

“Every breath we take, every step we make, can be filled with peace, joy, and serenity.”– Thich Nhat Hanh

To fill our breath and our lives with peace, joy, and serenity is a choice- a living, breathing choice that we have to make every single day. You can also choose the other side, but just like Thich Nhat Hanh, I say, choose peace, choose joy, choose serenity.

How do I add more serenity to my life? How do I have more peace in my life? The best advice I can give is to get in tune with your own nature. That might mean spending time in nature, spending time mediating, going for a walk, reading, cooking, being still. Those are the things that are the doorway to your truest nature. Another way to add serenity to your life is to set the intention of serenity. Recognizing that serenity is something you want and putting that intention out into the world can help make it a reality.
